I had to choose my very first personal email address that did not contain my name. I had to be creative. It was the early 90s and I decided to go with a weird hobby but Iluv2doodle looks weird. I didn't want shedoodles because that sounded potentially dirty? So somehow luvs2doodle was born. However. I couldn't get the actual luvs2doodle at yahoo or gmail so I went with the current email I still use for my personal account. It's not listed here. Later in life I did secure jsmdoodles (not yahoo) so that works. My friends also teased that my Cherokee name was "doodles with pen" since I really did doodle a lot. 

My name is Julie and I'm from Tulsa, OK.  I grew up here and have never moved out of the area. I love my city and my part of the state except when it's over a hundred degrees or ice is on the ground. I love my cat and miss the furry pups who have passed. I dream of owning an art studio/gallery someday so I can provide space for up-and-coming artists to create and share. But I currently create my art in a rented cat-hair-decorated apartment and plan to reconfigure my "studio" space in a room with a door to keep out the kitty in the next few months. The walls holding my art include family and friends and a few strangers. I hope to change that soon by adding a store or selling on Etsy, time will tell. I work full time at a job I love and fit art in my off-time, even though it's almost constantly on my mind.
